Baghdad-INA
The Prime Minister's advisor to follow up on the youth and sports file, Khaled Abdul Wahed Ghabyan, confirmed on Monday, that 25th Arabian Gulf will contribute to devaluing the dollar against the Iraqi dinar.
Ghabyan told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "The success of 25th Arabian Gulf will open up new horizons to host tournaments and festivals, whether sports or non-sports, and this was confirmed by Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani."
He added, "Most Gulf countries and countries of the world warn against coming to Iraq, as a result of negative media and incorrect assessment of the security situation in Iraq."
Ghabyan explained, "The value of the Iraqi dinar will rise against the dollar, because Gulf cup visitors will deal in the local currency, which will increase the demand for it, and thus will contribute to the decline in the value of the dollar."
