President Rashid congratulates the Iraqis on the occasion of the New Year

The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, congratulated on Saturday, the Iraqis on the occasion of the New Year.
 
Rashid said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "With the advent of the New Year, we extend our warmest greetings to our people wherever they are and to all humanity, hoping that 2023 will be a year of progress, prosperity and peace."
 
 
He added, "On this occasion, which we receive with a season that promises the rains of goodness, we renew our relentless endeavor to continue making efforts and unifying energies to build, eliminate corruption, and to enhance security and stability throughout our country, Iraq, in a manner that secures a decent life for all the citizens."
 
He continued: "We all hope that the new year will be a year of peace and harmony, a year of giving and well-being, a year of love and brotherhood, crowned by synergy and unity of creative national efforts that continue to work and strengthen the will for a more prosperous Iraq and aspiration for a life full of hope, love, and brotherhood."
 
He concluded by saying: “Happy new year to Iraq and the Iraqis, wishing prosperity and safety, peace and love to all the humanity."
