The Kuwait Football Association praised Iraq’s preparations to organize the Gulf 25.
The head of public relations of the Kuwaiti Football Association, Abdulnabi Muhammad, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The preparations are clear, especially in terms of organization and the clear public presence at Al-Minaa Stadium," pointing out that "the presence of the Kuwaiti fans will be strong in the tournament.".
He pointed out that "the State of Kuwait is among the government and people of the first to support the organization of the tournament in Iraq and encouraged its establishment in Basra," noting that "the Kuwaiti government will provide all facilities for the Kuwaiti public to enter Iraq."
And he indicated that "the Iraqi government did not fall short in terms of facilities and a few words of thanks to Iraq for the good reception and facilitation of procedures.".
On the sixth of next month, the 25th Gulf Championship will be launched on the land of Basra Governorate, with the participation of seven teams in addition to the Iraqi national team.
