The Basra International Airport Administration announced the preparation of an integrated plan and program for all requirements for receiving and seeing off delegations, fans, sports teams, and important personalities coming to the country and the province, to attend the Gulf Championship 25 .
The director of Basra International Airport, Abd al-Hussein Mohsen Abd, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "an integrated plan and program has been prepared for all requirements for receiving and seeing off delegations, fans, sports teams and important personalities coming through Basra International Airport, under the direction of the head of the Civil Aviation Authority, and with the support of from the governor of Basra.
Abd added that "more than one port has been opened for the entry of passengers, as the local arrival hall and the local materials hall have been activated to ensure a high flow rate and in cooperation with all supporting agencies at Basra International Airport," stressing that "the airport is fully prepared to receive and bid farewell to all arrivals."
