The Minister of Youth and Sports, Ahmed Al-Mubarqa, held an extensive meeting with security commanders and members of the Supreme Committee supervising 25th Gulf Cup to discuss the latest preparations, in the presence of the Governor of Basra.
The correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated, "The meeting followed the most important developments in the establishment of the Gulf Championship (25) in Basra, and discussed the governorate's preparations to receive the Gulf delegations participating in the tournament."
It is noteworthy that the Arab Gulf Championship, in its 25th edition, will start in Basra Governorate on January 6, 2023, with the participation of Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, the Sultanate of Oman and Yemen, in addition to Iraq, the host country for the tournament.
