Oil Ministry: Revenues of October reached more than $9 billion

    Ministry of Oil announced on Thursday, that last month's revenues reached to more than nine billion dollars.

    A statement by the ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the amount of exports of crude oil for October reached to (104) million and (831) thousand and (120) barrels, with revenues amounting to (9) billion and (281) million and  (647) thousand dollars.

     The statement added, "The total exported quantities of crude oil for October from the oil fields in central and southern Iraq reached to (102) million and (70) thousand and (427) barrels, while the quantities exported from Kirkuk oil through the port of Ceyhan were (2) million and (417) thousand and (893) barrels.

    It continued, "The average price of one barrel reached to (88,539) dollars," noting that "the exported quantities were loaded by (34) international companies of several nationalities, from the ports of Basra, Khor al-Amaya, the mono-buoys on the Gulf, and the Turkish port of Ceyhan."

     It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Oil, through their belief in informing the people of export operations and the revenues resulted from them, took this monthly procedure.
