Without warning, the Spanish defender Gerard Pique announced his departure from Barcelona, after a long career that spanned for years with the Catalan team.
Pique published a video clip, through his official account on the (Twitter) website, in which he said, "My last match will be with Almeria next Saturday in the League.".
"Sooner or later I will return to the club, I have always said that there will be no club after Barcelona.".
