The White House announced today, Monday, that contacts are moving in a positive direction in the ceasefire negotiations in Lebanon.
The White House stated that "the ceasefire in Lebanon is a priority for President Joe Biden," indicating that "contacts regarding reaching a ceasefire between Zionist entity and Hezbollah are ongoing, but there is no development to talk about."
"US envoy Amos Hochstein returned to Washington after constructive discussions," noting "the need to continue working to obtain a ceasefire."
White House: "We have reached a point in our discussions that leads us to believe that the discussions are going in a very positive way."
