Ministry of Interior announced Friday, that interior minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari assumed his duties.
The ministry’s media office said in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency -INA that “interior minister Al-Shammari received his duties from the former minister Othman Al-Ghanimi.”
Al-Shammari confirmed that “he will provide the citizens with the best services, overcoming the obstacles they face. He also will exert more effort in both security and service as well as continuous communication with all of the Iraqi segments.
