Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi assigned today, Tuesday, Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar to manage the finance ministry duties.
A government source told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, assigned during today's session the Minister of Oil, Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar, to manage the tasks of the Ministry of Finance after the resignation of Minister Ali Abdul-Amir Allawi."
Today, Tuesday, Finance Minister Ali Abdul Amir Allawi submitted his resignation from his position during the cabinet session.
