Al-Mandalawi receives the candidates for posts of President and Prime Minister

The First Deputy Speaker of the parliament , Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, received today, Thursday, the presidential candidates, Barham Salih and Abdel Latif Rashid, and candidate for prime minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani.

The media office of the First Deputy stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament , Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, received the President of the Republic, Barham Salih."

In a separate statement, the office said, "Al-Mandlawi also received the presidential candidate, Abdul Latif Rashid."

It added, "The candidate for prime minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, arrived at the office of the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi."
