A security delegation headed by Deputy Commander of Joint Operations Lieutenant-General Abdul Amir Al-Shammari arrived today, Sunday, in Kirkuk Governorate.
The Joint Operations Command JOC said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "A security delegation headed by the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant-General Abdul Amir Al-Shamri, arrived in Kirkuk Governorate," noting that "the delegation includes the commander of the Federal Police Forces, Lieutenant-General Saleh Nasser Al-Amiri and a number of Security leaders and staff bodies.
It added, "The visit aims to review the security situation, inspect all military units and evaluate the procedures of formations and units of the army, the federal police and the security services operating under the command of the advanced headquarters for joint operations in Kirkuk in the fight against ISIS and imposing security and stability in Kirkuk Governorate."
