Iraqi parliament voted on Wednesday, to choose Mohsen Al-Mandalawi as First Deputy Speaker.
Parliament media dept. stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “the parliament elected MP Mohsen Al-Mandalawi as first deputy to the Speaker of the Council, the number of voters for Al-Mandalawi reached 203 votes, while the number of voters for MP Yasser Al-Husseini reached 7 votes, while MP Basem al-Khashan has 17 votes.”
The statement added, "The number of invalid ballot papers reached 13 votes."
