INSS reveals a project specifying security and intelligence work fields

    The head of the Iraqi National Security Service INSS, Hamid Al-Shatri, confirmed Wednesday, that the citizen is the source of the information, while referring to the pursuit of achieving Iraqi security.

     Al-Shatri said in a meeting within the activities of Al-Rafidain Forum, which was attended by the reporter of the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the National Security Service , in all matters related to internal security, seeks information wherever it is," noting that "there is cooperation with the security services in the Region."

     He added, "Our first information is from the citizen, and we are gaining the trust of the citizen," noting that "the National Security Service participates with all intelligence and security agencies to integrate efforts and achieve security."

    He continued, "If we are unable to do so, the country will go through difficult conditions," explaining, "We are trying to have a security and military system at the strategic level to be a deterrent so that others do not try to influence the Iraqi situation."

     He stated that "there are ambitious projects for security sector integration and reform, and we have a project supervised by the National Security Adviser that aims to specify security and intelligence works fields for the purpose of work integration," noting that "some security services need support and legislation to reach the stage of integration in completing duties and tasks."
