Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi discussed with King Abdullah II of Jordan preparations for holding the Baghdad 2nd Conference on Cooperation and Partnership and the stages of progress in the electrical connection project during their meeting on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly.
The media office of the Prime Minister stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Al-Kadhimi met in New York, the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, on the sidelines of participation in the meetings of the United Nations General Assembly."
"During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance it, as well as the latest developments on the regional and international arenas." The statement added.
"the meeting discussed preparations for holding the Baghdad 2nd Conference for Cooperation and Partnership in Jordan, as well as discussing economic cooperation in various fields and at all levels, as well as reviewing the stages of progress in the electrical interconnection project that the two countries were keen to move forward, due to the benefit and interest of interest of the two brotherly countries”, the statement continued .
