Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi confirmed on Wednesday, that the government has provided all requirements to protect visitors to the fortieth prayer of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), while indicating the readiness to overcome obstacles.
The media office of the Prime Minister stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Al-Kadhimi visited the holy province of Karbala to follow up the implementation of the plan for the fortieth visit of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him)," noting that "Al-Kadhimi chaired, upon his arrival, an expanded meeting that included officials Security and service departments and formations in the holy
governorate of Karbala, in the presence of a number of ministers of the security and service ministries."
He said that "with all of our cooperation and patience, and avoiding any clash or negative political developments, it will be reflected in the future on building better conditions than the current situation."
He renewed his "thanks to the security services that work on more than one front, in the fight against ISIS, and in providing security with the exceptional political situation in Iraq, as well as for the visitors of Abu Abdullah Al-Hussein (peace be upon him)."
