The United Nations Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, stressed today, Saturday, that the export of Ukrainian and Russian grain is important to prevent a rise in their prices globally.
Guterres said, "Some African countries are experiencing severe food shortages, and we hope that Ukrainian grain shipments will continue.".
He added, "More than 50 thousand tons of grain have been shipped so far from Ukrainian ports," noting that "the export of Ukrainian and Russian grain is very important to prevent a rise in grain prices around the world."
