Diyala police arrest 18 wanted persons

The Diyala Governorate Police Command announced today, Thursday, the arrest of 18 wanted persons, two of whom were wanted in accordance with Article 4 of terrorism.

The leadership stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the arrested were caught by the police forces during a joint operation in which 18 wanted persons were arrested according to various legal articles during security practices during the past two days.".

He added, "The operations were carried out by detachments and patrols of the Khalis, Bani Saad, Jalawla, Buhrz, Diyala 4th and 3rd Emergency Regiments, and the Diyala Anti-Crime Department in partnership with the detachments of the Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism Directorate of Diyala."
