The Popular Mobilization forces (PMF) announced on Monday, that it had foiled a terrorist plot to target security forces and civilians in Mosul.
"A joint force of the army and the 60th Brigade in the PMF foiled today Monday, a terrorist plot to target security forces and civilians in Mosul," PMF said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
"This came after the force carried out a security operation based on accurate intelligence information, which resulted in finding (TNT) and (C4) materials estimated at (10 bags) and a number of mobile phones ready to be connected, the terrorists wanted to link the explosives to target the security forces and civilians,” the statement added.
