Army Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Abdul-Emir Yarallah stressed on Monday, that the desert will not be a safe haven for terrorists.
"The Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant-General Abdul Amir Yarallah, arrived in Anbar province and inspected the Al-Jazeera operations sector and was briefed on the latest operations carried out by the army units in the desert areas west of the province," said the reporter of the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
Yarallah stressed, "The need to continue search operations in the desert areas to destroy any den the terrorists try to hide in," noting that "the desert will not be a safe haven for terrorists."
He praised "the level of qualitative operations carried out by the units of the Seventh Division, which succeeded in securing the areas of western Anbar."
