Oil Ministry announces drilling a new well in Zubair Oil field

The Ministry of Oil announced Wednesday the completion of a new oil well in the Zubair field.
 
"The technical and engineering staff of the company completed the drilling of the seventh well, as part of the contract with ENI of Italy to drill 37 oil wells in the Zubair Oil field," said Bassem Abdul Karim Nasser, general manager of the Iraqi drilling company of the ministry, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
 
"The drilling operations are carried out using the IDC37 rig at a depth of (3,547 meters) and the company has allocated two modern devices to implement this project," he said, adding that "the development of the company's working mechanisms in accordance with international standards with regard to safety systems, engineering inspection.”
 
"The company is currently operating in accordance with integrated management system - IMS to keep pace with global work on regulations and standards," he said.
