President of the House Representatives Mohamed Halbosi discussed with Dutch Ambassador to Iraq Matisse Walters the economic and investment files During the meeting they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen it which serve the two friendly countries, as well as discuss the file of joint cooperation and all fields especially the economic and investment. Al-Halbosi stressed that Iraq is looking forward during the next stage to support friendly countries through active participation in reconstruction and investment files by attracting foreign companies to provide all facilities that contribute to rehabilitation of infrastructure of many cities that lack services. Parliament is keen during its new session on the ratification of legislation and laws and activates of decentralization, which ensures the advancement of realities of service, economic and to achieve the aspirations of the Iraqi people, which we represent. Halbosi added that priorities of parliament strengthen parliamentary diplomacy between Iraq and friendly countries, including Netherlands through the activation the friendship committees to improve the performance of the Council and its oversight and legislative role in the country. On his part, Dutch ambassador confirmed his country's keenness on importance of establishing best relations with Iraq to achieve common interests at all levels.
