The Supreme Commission for Hajj and Umrah announced on Sunday, the completion of the arrival of all Iraqi pilgrims to the country, while noting that Iraq is the first among Islamic countries in providing exemplary services to pilgrims.
The Commission said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The last flight of Iraqi pilgrims arrived in the homeland, carrying 260 pilgrims, coming from King Abdulaziz Airport in Jeddah to Erbil Airport."
The statement added, "The arrival of all 15,252 pilgrims through the Jdeidet Arar border crossing and through the five Iraqi airports (Baghdad, Basra, Najaf, Sulaymaniyah, Erbil), has been completed."
