Press reports revealed that the Moroccan Football Association has decided to prepare the file to host the 2030 World Cup, in preparation for submitting it to the International Football Association "FIFA" during the coming period.

The Moroccan Minister of Youth and Sports, Rachid Talbi Alami, had announced that his country would apply for a nomination to host the 2030 World Cup, after Morocco lost the right to organize the tournament to be held in 2026 in favor of a tripartite file submitted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The AFRICA FUTBOLERA network, which specializes in African football, said that Morocco is preparing to submit its individual bid to host the 2030 World Cup, especially since Morocco has succeeded in hosting many major events recently.
The British newspaper, "The Times", confirmed earlier that the Swiss Gianni Infantino, president of the International Football Association "FIFA", was planning to involve Morocco in the Spanish and Portuguese duo file to run for the organization of the World Cup in 2030.
Morocco seeks to be the second African country to organize the tournament after South Africa in 2010, and the second in the Arab world after Qatar, which will host the 2022 World Cup.
