Salih congratulates Eid Al-Adha and calls for unity

The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, congratulated Friday, Eid Al-Adha, while calling for unity.

 Salih said in a tweet , followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "My best wishes and blessings to our people on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Adha, recalling the martyrs of the country and those who sacrificed for the dignity of its people ."

 He added, "It is an occasion to emphasize unity for the sake of a capable state, a patron and servant of all citizens, that takes its pivotal role and becomes a meeting place for the countries and peoples of the region for peace and prosperity."
