INA- Dhi Qar A British team specialized in excavation started its works in “taloo” archaeological site north of Nasiriya city. Al-Sabah newspaper quoted from the Dhi Qar Archaic Inspectorate’s Director Amjad Mousawi that a British team consisted of 18 archaic researchers and excavators arrived to taloo site to start its works for the fifth season in the same site. Mousawi added the team would perform maintenance and renovation works for the archaic pieces when founded, and then would send them to the National Museum in Baghdad, saying that their work would last for two months. Worth mentioning that the Consultant of the Dhi Qar Governorate Council’s Chairman Amer Abdul Razzaq said recently three foreign expeditions started excavation works in three important sites in Nasiriya as part of a bond signed by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism for five years with condition of renewability in those sites.
