The Ministry of Health announced the registration of 59 new cases of cholera and a second death from the disease.
"Our laboratories recorded 59 new cases of cholera in Baghdad and the provinces, bringing the total number to 139," the spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Saif Al-Badr, told IMN.
He added, "Two of the injured have died, and the last of them is a woman in Baghdad who died during the past 24 hours."
