SMC announces results of third phase of Solid Will Operation

Security Media Cell announced there the results of the third phase of Operation Solid Will.

 A statement by the cell, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the third phase of Operation Solid Will was launched, at dawn yesterday, under the supervision of the Joint Operations Command, and units of the Iraqi army participated in it for the operations commands  (Salah al-Din - Samarra - Diyala) and the popular mobilization units for the axes (  Diyala, Salah al-Din and eastern Tigris) with the support of the air force and army aviation to inspect the areas of Hawi al-Adheim.

 The statement added that "a broad security operation was also launched at the same time by the Iraqi army (the First Division), the Popular Mobilization Forces in Diyala, and a force from the Rapid Response Division with the support of the army's aviation in the areas of northern Muqdadiyah and the Diyala River Basin."

 The statement explained that "the results of the two operations were the discovery of 7 hideouts for ISIS terrorist gangs, two explosive devices, an explosive belt, a rifle, 5 ammunition stores, 3 motorcycles and a vehicle ," noting that "the seized materials were duly dealt with according to the procedures ."
