Zidane, Talabani discuss the role of judiciary in addressing the political crisis

The President of Supreme Judicial Council(SJC), Faiq Zeidan, and the President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Bafel Talabani, discussed on Wednesday, the role of judiciary in addressing the political crisis.

"The President of SJC, Faiq Zaidan, received the President of Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Bafel Jalal Talabani," Said in the statement by the SJC, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

"The meeting discussed the role of the judiciary in addressing the political crisis in accordance with the constitutional and legal contexts, and the need for all political forces to respect what is issued by the judiciary and to enhance citizens' confidence in the impartiality and independence of the judiciary," the statement added.
