Military Intelligence takes down three terrorists in Nineveh

The Military Intelligence Directorate announced on Monday, that it took down three terrorists in Nineveh.

"With separate qualitative operations, a distinguished intelligence effort, highly accurate information, and continuous follow-up to the terrorists movements detected by the 15th Division's Intelligence Division, and in cooperation with some security services in the sector of responsibility, as well as with the participation of a force from the division affiliated with the Land Forces Command, it resulted in taking down three terrorists, one of whom is so-called (Abu Yahya), in the check point of the formerly known as Martyr Ayman (Al-Awainat) while he was trying to enter Rabia from Mosul after setting up a tight ambush for him in the check point, and he is one of the prominent administrative elements of what was called (Diwan Al-Jund)," according to a statement by the Directorate received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

The statement noted that, "Two others were arrested in the northern village of Al-Amlah in Zummar district, west of Nineveh, as one of them is so-called (Abu Al-Hamza) and the other (Al-Jarrah), as the first worked within the elements of the so-called (Al-Bara bin Malik Brigade), while the second belonged to the so-called (Khalid bin Walid Squad)."

"The three terrorists are among the elements required to be judged by arrest warrants based on the provisions of Article 4 of terrorism," the statement included.
