PM affirms Iraq's pride in the relationship with Egypt and Jordan

    Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi affirmed today, Monday, Iraq's pride in the relationship with Egypt and Jordan and the importance of developing it, stressing the importance of cooperation and coordination of regional positions on the path of consolidating peace and stability in the region.
     
    A statement, by the Media Office of the Council of Ministers,  stated that "the Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Samih Shoukry, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Ayman Al-Safadi, wirh the presence of Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein."
     
    At the beginning of the meeting, Al-Kazemi expressed "Iraq's pride in the relationship with the two countries and the importance of developing it in various fields, and verything that supports the prospect of economic development and prosperity, as well as common food security.
    Al-Kadhimi stressed, "the importance of cooperation and coordination of regional positions on the path of consolidating peace and stability in the region," noting that "building on the decisions of the summits that brought together the leaders of the three countries, the latest of which was the summit hosted by Baghdad, would achieve a better future for the three countries and the region."
