The Ministry of Migration and Displacement announced the return of 129 displaced people from Nineveh camps to their areas of origin.
A statement by the ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the Minister of Migration and Displacement, Othman Al-Ghanimi Agency, continues to follow up on returning the displaced families to their original areas of residence.".
He added, "Al-Ghanimi supervised the return of 129 displaced people from the camps of Nineveh Governorate to their areas of residence in the governorates of Nineveh, Anbar and Salah al-Din, with a number of 33 families, and in coordination with the security forces, local governments and immigration branches there.".
"this step is a continuation of the plan drawn up to return the displaced voluntarily and end their suffering." he pointed out.
