INA - BAGHDAD Minister of Planning Dr. Salman Jumaili stated that the Iraqi private sector has begun to take good steps in the framework of investment and development in the country by its contribution to implementing many tasks and projects during the previous years. He explained that the cooperation between the public and private sectors should be transformed into decisions and then practical procedures within the framework of the government's progress towards activating the real partnership with the private sector. "This comes to in order to chart the development of the country," al-Jumaili said during the preside of the 23rd session of Economic Affairs Committee. The committee discussed the contracts and partnerships of the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control (COSQC) with international examining companies that process the examining of imported goods to Iraq in the country of origin. In addition to that, the Committee recommended the Ministry of Finance to allocate the necessary funds within the general budget of the state to enable the COSQCT carrying out the tasks.
