Cabinet secretariat sets Eid al-Fitr holiday

     The General Secretariat of the Cabinet has set Wednesday, the blessed Eid Al-Fitr holiday.
     
    The General Secretariat of the Cabinet said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "Sunday, which is the 1st of next May, will be an official holiday, on the occasion of the International Labor Day, and the blessed Eid Al-Fitr holiday begins from the same day, and ends on Thursday, the 5th of May".
     
    It added, "The official working hours in all government institutions will resume on Sunday, the 8th of May."
