The Syndicate of Artists confirmed, today, Friday, that the blessed Eid Al Fitr event is an opportunity to exchange visits and offer congratulations between Iraqi families to consolidate social relations.
The head of the artists Syndicate , Jabbar Joudi, said in a special statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the obligation to fast during the blessed month of Ramadan is an opportunity to purify the soul of the effort and anxiety that is attached to it in human feelings." It comes after a month of fasting, which is a good opportunity to strengthen social relations through the exchange of congratulations and visits between Iraqi families. "
Joudi added that "there are many interesting artistic materials from series, plays, films and drama materials that were presented during the month of Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr a long time ago,"
Noting that "these artistic materials derived their aesthetics and values from the Ramadan and Eid occasions."
For his part, the head of the Arab Folk Writers Union and the Iraqi Folk Writers Association, Jabbar Farhan Al-Ugaili, pointed out that "the holiday is a social occasion that starts from religious teachings, and has turned into a solid social tradition," noting that "the holiday promotes peace and brotherly relations in society."
