Political talks to expedite formation of new government

The Sovereignty Alliance discussed today, Tuesday, with the President of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Masoud Barzani, accelerating the formation of the new government.

The office of the Speaker of Parliament said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "a delegation from the Sovereignty Alliance met today, the head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Masoud Barzani, in Erbil."

He added that "the delegation discussed the political situation and the obstacles facing the political process in Iraq," noting that "the importance of expediting the formation of the new government was emphasized."
