Intelligence Agency announced Sunday the seizure of 8 million narcotic pills in Baghdad.
The agency said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency in the Ministry of Interior, in partnership with a force from the Iraqi National Intelligence Service, managed to seize large quantities of narcotic pills, estimated at eight million narcotic pills."
It added, "The pills were hidden in a loading vehicle intended to bring them into the capital, Baghdad," noting that "they were followed up from the Anbar-Najaf International Road, and they were arrested and narcotics were seized in the Dora area of Baghdad."
