PM Muhammed S. Al-Sudani met on Saturday in Erbil with the PM of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq, Masrour Barzani.
The meeting included discussions on several national-level issues, as well as key regional and international developments, reviewing the government’s position on the ongoing crises in the region.
Both stressed "the importance of partnership and coordination in facing challenges, as well as adopting a balanced policy grounded in cooperation and mutual interests with brotherly and friendly nations."
PM Al-Sudani stated that "the government has successfully navigated various internal and external crises and has taken responsibility despite the regional volatility," reaffirming his administration’s commitment to strengthening the national economy and consolidating stability throughout the country.
The meeting also addressed "the importance of resolving all outstanding issues and removing obstacles by the Constitution and the law, in a way that ensures justice and benefits all Iraqis."
