Iraqi forces carry out a landing operation in Al-Jal area, south of Kirkuk

The Security Media Cell (SMC) announced today, Sunday that the security forces carried out a landing operation in Al-Jal area, south of Kirkuk.
 
SMC said in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "The Iraqi special forces carried out the operation of landing airborne forces to search Al-Jal area, south of Kirkuk, one of the remote areas, by transport aircraft of the army's aviation."
 
The statement  added, "The first force was able to cordon off the area, followed by several landings over the site, which is considered one of the very rugged areas that the mechanisms cannot reach, and the operation is still continuing."
 
SMC also added, "The Special Forces carried out qualitative operations in following up the whereabouts of the terrorists, who will not have any shelter due to the Ops of our heroic forces, and in any area, regardless of the nature of its terrain."
