Al-Halbousi meets US Envoy to Iraq, McGurk

INA – BAGHDAD Speaker of Iraqi Parliament, Muhammed al-Halbousi met the US envoy to Iraq Britt McGurk in Baghdad on Monday. Both have discussed the mutual cooperation in terms of counter-terrorism that helps to improve security and stability. During the meeting, the two have discussed the political and security situation in Iraq and the region and the means to coordinate a mutual work between Iraq and US. Al-Halbousi asserted the importance of the constitutional timings in terms of occupying the high authority places.
