PM and Al-Halbousi stress the importance of passing legal obligations

Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi and Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi stressed the importance of passing legal obligations. 
The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi received Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi," noting that "the two sides discussed the latest developments in the political arena, and the progress of efforts aimed at fulfilling the constitutional entitlements on time, strengthening the path of democracy and national action in order to providing more services to citizens and achieving their aspirations.
"During the meeting, it was emphasized the importance of enhancing the citizen's confidence in the political process by focusing on the goal of serving the people's sectors, the importance of passing legal obligations related to people's lives, and facing global challenges and the increasing tensions that were reflected in the Iraqi economy," noting that "the meeting witnessed exchange of views and visions seeking to overcome obstacles and political obstructions, and exert more efforts to assist the national parliamentary forces to assume the responsibilities of the stage, and to confront the current crises, in order to enhance the pace of development and prosperity.
