An intention to produce cancer products for the first time in Iraq

 Samarra General Company for Pharmaceutical Laboratories revealed a move to produce cancer drugs for the first time in Iraq.
The General Director of Samarra Company for Pharmaceutical Laboratories, Khaled Mohieldin, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), today, Tuesday that "the General Company for Pharmaceuticals is under negotiation with international companies for the purpose of concluding investment contracts for the establishment of factories for the production of cancer drugs for the first time in Iraq."
He pointed out that "there are offers and negotiations with several companies, including Iraqi and foreign, in order to produce the drugs internally."
The public company had confirmed earlier, that its investment plan for the establishment of three factories within the investment plan and the start of work on them, and currently the actual start of establishing these factories and its own warehouses will take place.
