The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today, Monday that the Romanian government agreed that Iraqis departing from Ukraine would remain on its territory for 90 days.
Ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahaf told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Romanian ambassador to Iraq, Rado Octavian Dobri, confirmed that his country's government is ready to help the Iraqi community in Ukraine and to provide all possible facilities."
Al-Sahaf added, "Romania agreed to keep the Iraqis leaving from Ukraine for 90 days, until their situation is settled and their return to Iraq is guaranteed."
