The US Treasury announced that its ban on the supply of dollar notes to Russia will not include individual cases and personal savings for non-commercial purposes.

The Treasury statement said: “Allowing all personal, one-time transactions that are necessary for the non-commercial transfer of personal funds such as the transfer of US dollar notes from the United States or from a US person, regardless of their location, to an individual in Russia or the transfer of US dollar notes to a US person in Russia”.

US President Joe Biden has signed a decree banning the supply of US dollar notes to Russia.
