Sultan Khaldoun Asaad, a student in the middle school at the School of the Gifted in Baghdad, won the silver medal in the Olympiad of Science and Technology competitions in London for (12-14) ages, which was held under the auspices of the British Cambridge University on February 19, with the participation of 60 competitors from all continents of the world.
“Asaad is Baghdad's talent and the new star that shines in the sky of Iraq," said the Minister of Education in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency – INA.
He Noted that "the Olympics brings together a selected group of students from the countries of the world to participate in this educational forum, believing that such competitions is a good opportunity to deepen ties, links and acquaintance between peoples and countries as well as to exchange experiences and expertise in various fields of science,”
