The Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) announced today, Friday, that Iraq achieved, last February, the highest rate of its oil exports in two years.
The company explained in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the rate of Iraq's exports during last February amounted to 3.314 million barrels per day, an estimated increase of (112) thousand barrels per day compared to last month," indicating that "the rate of Iraq's oil exports for the past month." It is the highest in two years.
The statement added, "The financial revenues achieved from oil exports are the highest since 2014," stressing that "the financial revenues amounted to 8.54 billion dollars, and the Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) has exported the available quantity of crude oil through the governorates of Basra and Kirkuk."
The statement indicated that "the financial revenues for the current month of March will be higher than last month, based on the current market data."
