Oil January revenues amounted to more than 8 billion dollars

    The Ministry of Oil announced today, Thursday, that the financial revenues of oil exports during the past month exceeded 8 billion dollars, while the value of exports was clarified throughout a whole year.

    The ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the financial revenues for the month of last January amounted to (8) billion (322) million and (679) thousand dollars, according to the final statistics issued by the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO). , noting that "the total of oil exports amounted to (99) million (286) thousand and (78) barrels.".

    The statement pointed out that "the total quantities exported of crude oil for the month of last January from oil fields in central and southern Iraq amounted to (96) million and (430) thousand and (596) barrels, while the quantities exported of Kirkuk oil through the port of Ceyhan amounted to two million. and (545) thousand and (656) barrels, with an average barrel price of (83,825) dollars.

     "The exported quantities were loaded by (29) international companies of various nationalities, from the ports of Basra, Khor Al-Amaya, mono-buoys on the Gulf, and the Turkish port of Ceyhan.

    At the same time, the ministry confirmed that the total revenues generated from oil exports for the period from January 2021 until the end of last January 2022 amounted to (83) billion (973) million and (290) thousand dollars.
