The Ministry of Health announced today, Monday, the deployment of health care teams on the road on the road of the pilgrims of Imam Al-Kadhim (peace be upon him).
The correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said, "The ministry held a special meeting to discuss health preparations for the visit to commemorate the death of Imam Al-Kadhim (peace be upon him) in the presence of the concerned health authorities in Karkh and Rusafa sides," noting that "the ministry is fully prepared to cover the health requirements of this holy occasion.”
He also added, "The ministry has prepared all hospitals and mobile health teams to provide the medical services that visitors may need," noting that "health awareness teams will be published and special leaflets distributed to educate the pilgrims about the importance of adhering the preventive measures against corona virus."
He stressed that "the ministry emphasized cooperation with the owners of the processions to provide health supplies such as gloves, masks, and means of sterilization to secure the atmosphere of the millionth visit," noting that "health teams and ambulances will be deployed along the road for visitors coming from the governorates heading to the city of Kadhimiya."
