Ministry of Environment: granting 401 approvals for projects in four provinces

Ministry of Environment announced today, Friday, granting of 401 approvals for project activities in four provinces. 
 
The Director-General of Environment of the South Walid Al-Moussawi said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The technical department in the directorate has prepared a database for environmental approvals in the southern governorates, including Basra, Maysan, Dhi Qar and Wasit, indicating that" the environmental approvals included 401 approvals distributed among the activities and various service projects".

He added, "The Environmental approvals are granted after conducting the necessary field inspections for these activities and fulfilling the required environmental conditions and limitations according to the Environmental Protection and Improvement Law."
