Washington: The world must prepare for the invasion of Ukraine

US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan confirmed today, Sunday that the United States has information about Russian planning to invade Ukraine, calling on the world to be on alert.
"We have information about planning an attack on Ukraine," Sullivan said, noting that "there is an acceleration of Russian military activity near the Ukrainian border."
The adviser to the US president stressed that "the United States will not give Russia an opportunity to launch a "sudden" attack on Ukraine.
He added, "The world must prepare for Russia's invasion of Ukraine," noting at the same time that "it is not possible to determine the day when Russia will invade Ukraine."
Sullivan had warned, on Friday, that a Russian military invasion of Ukraine, interspersed with a campaign of air strikes and a swift attack, had become a real possibility in the coming days, calling on the Americans to leave Kiev within two days.
